Robert Balzar Trio is one of the best jazz bands in Czech republic, successful not only nationally, but also abroad. The members of this band take part on project with excellent  saxophone player Craig Handy which is being prepared currently. Craig Handy co-plays with musicians such as Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Mingus Bigband, Betty Carter, Roy Haynes, Elvin Jones. Dan Bárta

Dan Bárta is an all-round singer. He was awarded many prizes including the Popular Music Acadamy Anděl Prize (within the one from 2008). He is acclaimed critically and also publicly. In 2000, he established his own Illustratosphere project, which includes Robert Balzar Trio. They have influenced each other systematically and that’s why the whole project has gotten his own original face. His play list consists of his own songs and also jazz classics.
